- Title:
- Dupytrens Contracture
- Description:
- Hand deformity that usually develops over years and affects a layer of tissue that lie under the skin of the palm. Knots of tissue form under the skin eventually creating a thick cord that can pull one or more fingers into a bent position.

- Title:
- X-ray (chest), PA, Adult Male, Tuberculosis
- Description:
- Findings:
Soft tissues of chest wall are unremarkable. Bones are intact.
Cardiomediastinal silhouette, aorta and pulmonary vasculature are normal.
Left hilar region appears elevated and there are streaky densities extending into the left upper lung zone. There is patchy density with some areas of confluence in the left upper lobe, more so in the apical region. Some cavitary areas are identified. The remainder of the lungs appear relatively clear with mild pulmonary hyperexpansion. There is left apical pleural thickening, remainder of the costophrenic angles are sharp.
Subdiaphragmatic structures are normal.
Impression: Infiltrates in left upper lobe, pleural thickening, hilar elevation, streaky densities and areas of cavitation are consistent with tuberculosis. Also consider old tuberculosis changes with superimposed pneumonia. Mild asthmatic changes also seen.

- Title:
- X-ray (chest), PA, Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis
- Description:
- Hypersensitivity pneumonitis (HP) (also known as extrinsic allergic alveolitis) represents a group of pulmonary disorders mediated by inflammatory reaction to inhalation of an allergen. These may be organic or inorganic particles (microbes, animal or plant proteins, and certain chemicals) that form haptens by sensitised individuals. More than 200 different antigens have been associated with the development of HP, including plant products, animal products, aerosolized micro-organisms, and organic chemicals. Smoking is protective against HP. Depending on the type of precipitant, numerous other more precipitant specific terms have been used such as:
• bird fancier's lung: pigeon fancier's lung
•farmer's lung
•cheese worker’s lung
•mushroom worker’s lung
•malt worker’s lung
•maple bark disease
•hot tub lung
•organic chemicals such as isocyanates found in paint hardeners
•from immunosuppresants used in organ transplantation: e.g. sirolimus/everolimus
The diagnosis relies on a constellation of findings: exposure to an offending antigen, characteristic signs and symptoms, abnormal chest findings on physical examination, and abnormalities on pulmonary function tests and radiographic evaluation.
